Goat Thing of the Day: Thunderboxes

You know, for the life of me, I can’t figure out why an outhouse would be called a Thunderbox, but here you go.

FYI: These outhouses were part of a traveling art project earlier this year called Thunderbox Road

  19. None of the thunderboxes I ever used looked anything like those. Although I doubt looking cool helps with the smell…you know, from the thunder.

  20. From what I can find Thunderbox is an old 17th century slang word for toilet
    maybe because of the racket being made in there?

    You really are developing a fine collection of goat pics… Perhaps you should compile a coffeetable book. 🙂
    You could include recipes including feta cheese opposite each spread.
