Not that I want to ruin your weekend or anything, but you do realize there are only five shopping days until Christmas, right?
Youโre welcome.
Surfie over at Surfie Says had an NGIP moment when visiting a farm in Lynchburg, SC. She immediately grabbed her camera and caught these two lovelies, named Zebra and Chocolate.
Can you guess which is which? Even my many many thousands and thousands of Kindle subscribers who may be limited to black and white photos (unless, of course, they carry the Super Quattro Amazon Kindle Photo Converter 3000) may be able to tell which one is most likely Zebra and which one is not Zebra, hence Chocolate.
If youโre either color-blind or Kindle-bound, Chocolate is on the left and Zebra is on the right in this 2nd photo.
Ann Tracy of Waiting for the Muse sent in this piece whose source is unclear but appeared in a series of photos sent by a friend in Romania.

i am very fond f goats and your article makes me proud.
I used to not like goats at all… except for looking for them on my honeymoon in Ireland. I used to think they were ugly, but since following you, I have come to love the little buggers.
BTW, speaking of Kindle, my wonderful, loving husband got me one for Christmas - WooHoo!! Know what the first thing I did was… Subscribe to NGIP, of course… it was SO easy.
I had sent him your post on all the amazing things you can do with a Kindle, I think that was the thing that finally convinced him, so I owe you a HUGE debt of gratitude… From the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU!!! ๐
I just returned from Israel- I saw lots of cows and chickens- and a 3-legged donkey, but no goats. I was looking out for you, but I got nothing
๐
xo
Those are some mighty awesome goats there…do they shop…I could hire them to get this shopping done.
That last picture is…um…disturbing at best.
I feel like a naked Keannu Reeves is just off camera somewhere.
Yep. That last photo would come from Romania.
Goats are so cute!
These are lovely goats, although Zebra looks more like a cow in that second photo of them. Maybe she should have been named Holstein.
There sure is a lot of goat lovin' going on over here.
And, because you're curious, I prefer chocolate.
When I started reading I thought Zebra and Chocolate were last-minute gift ideas. I can get people some chocolate locally, but the zebra - not so much.
Back here, there are lots and lots of goats. Great photos!
I still want a pet goat. If only Santa could bring one.
I saw a goat yesterday and it was so cute. It reminded me of you. Or your blog. Not sure which….
HA! I'll take both!
Loved the last picture. And for you doubters, goat love is perfectly natural and normal. I am sure they make great Christmas presents too! LOL!
Then I know what I'm getting you for Christmas!
That was a hint, right? ๐
I love that bottom pic…it's so pretty. And that's a phrase I never thought I'd hear myself say about a goat ๐
SO CUTE! I just love your goat stuff! LOL :o)
Are you sure on the Zebra and Chocolate? Just want to be sure….Goats are erm, unpredictable you know.
I know what I am getting for Christmas - APPLES!!!!!
I don't know why you would want a Rosetta Stone. It would break your teeth. But humans are, erm odd.
You're getting apples for Christmas? Yay! I assume you'll be blogging about it? With pictures? ๐
Chocolate & Zebra are really cute!
I still have to wrap most of my presents! Ugh.
Look at those sweet faces… I would have named the black-and-white one “Oreo” though. But maybe they don't have Oreos in Romania, in which case it's not someplace I wish to go…
Zebra could also carry the name of Oreo. Now all this talk is makin' this chick hungry! Think I'll go hit the Christmas fudge, only five day left. Yeah, there will be plenty!
Enjoy the day!!! :o)
Good goggly-moogly! Only 5 days? I better get crack-a-lackin'!!!
Christmas? 5 days? WTF?
Yea! It's my GTOTD! These adorable creatures were named by my nephews (ages 9 and 7), who have not yet learned how to be creative with names. ๐
I like the names Zebra and Chocolate. It's better than some other pet names I've heard, such as, “Kitty”, “Doggie”, and “Turtle”.
I am disturbed by her love of the goat in that last photo Seriously.
I'm right with you, sister. It is a little creepy.
How come I never see any goats? Are there none in the northeast? Now I need to be on the lookout because it would make me so happy to submit a Goat Thing of the Day. Not kidding. Get it? I'm not kid-ding.
I don't often run into them myself. I had to go to a goat dairy farm and the fair for the sole purpose of seeing goats to see goats.
