Free New York City Tours, By Yours Truly

And while I still have the floor I would like to show you a picture of another piece of interesting architecture in New York. This is the Credit Card Building. It is nestled in a quaint little neighborhood known as the Credit Card District. I wonder why they call it that.

If you wish to know about New York City, I hold bi-quarterly tours that are guaranteed to be more or less 100% historically accurate. The way these tours work is, you go to New York. Then you take a picture and send it to me and I’ll tell you what it is. It’s one of the many thousands and thousands of services we provide here at Nanny Goats in Panties.

  1. Ooh, I feel like I have been to NY now! Thank you for saving me all kinds of travel and hotel fees. And probably a mugging and the cost of the food. You are awesome!

God, I wish I could be that skinny. Freaking buildings even look better than me.

  3. Nicky says:

Not to criticize or anything Margaret, but your tour seems a little lacking. Could you please refer to it as New Yawk, steal my wallet, then tell me to fugghedabout it. Thanks. That would feel more like I got my money’s worth. Especially since you took all the money in my wallet.

    1. A thousand pardons, my dear. You are absolutely correct. Plus, as an added bonus, I will return your wallet. Sans money, natch.

There is, also, a copy of this building in Pawhuska, OK. So funny.

    1. I saw one in Oakland, CA, last year as well. I wonder how many of these exist on the planet?

Well slap me silly and call me Tilly, the buildin’ truly does look like a credit card!

    I’ve voted…can I vote again? Just askin’….

    Have a marvelous day sweetie!

    1. Ha! Nezzy – you kill me! No, you can only vote once. Otherwise, I know I’d win, just on YOUR votes alone, sweetie!

      1. Ruetta says:

I voted twice using my ultra secret ‘other’ name. Maybe I’ll have to get some more secret names to bump you into first place.

        1. I am going to pretend I didn’t hear that and the next time you say that out loud, I would suggest you say that you and “your brother” voted for me. 🙂 Otherwise, the “birthers” may try to pull me out of the race calling me illegitimate.

          1. Ruetta says:

            It WAS my brother, silly!

            1. Ruetta says:

Margaret, to be perfectly clear, I only voted for you once. I did not vote twice.

              1. No worries, Ruetta! 🙂

  6. All I can say is Credit Card Building = Holy Phallic Symbol.

    1. LOL! Is that the sickness talking? You’re a genius when your brain is fried. 🙂

    The publicist misses NY.
    She is now sad.
She has to go out and hug a goat.

    1. I miss it too! I love that place and can’t seem to get enough of it.

There is a copy of this building in Toronto close to Union Station. Whenever I happen to look at it I can’t help but think of NYC.

But then Toronto has many things similar to NYC – here’s a great posts highlighting that: http://www.thetravelprovocateur.com/?p=1498

    1. I imagine there are copies of NYC landmarks all over the place. I think there was some news story recently about the post office issuing a stamp of the Statue of Liberty but they used the replica in Vegas (from the New York New York casino) instead of the real thing and people got all up in arms about it.
