As many of you know, I co-produced and co-directed the Listen to Your Mother Sacramento show on Mother’s Day. I was also one of the cast members reading my own story aloud in front of 350+ people at the Crest Theatre.
LTYM’s big nationwide video launch was today, including the ones from our show in Sacramento. So, for those of you Nanny Goats fans who couldn’t come to the show, now you can hear my story – yay!
I’m afraid we had a few oopsies with the video, but the audio is intact, so without further ado, I give you my story entitled, “Avocado Green and Other Things That Are Wrong”.
Here is the direct link to the video.
You can also see the whole 2013 LTYM Sacramento Show playlist.
And you can see the entire nation of shows on the National LTYM You Tube Page (where OUR cast is in the featured banner)
And now I love you even MORE than ever!!
Thank you Meleah! MWAH!
Dang! I can’t get it to play. (And I’m pretty sure I need to update my software.) I’ll go do that and be back.

Margaret…that was the most awesome, sweet, sad, funny, totally engaging monolog I have ever had the pleasure to hear. You rock!!
Cheryl – thank you so so much!!!
We will all come and collectively butt that bitch for you. Not that it will change anything.
The publicist lost her mother early too. Her mother was a bit wacky as well. Sort of explains the publicist.
Thanks, Pricilla! And I’m sorry you lost your Mom so early too. 🙁
Beautifully written and delivered.
Well done

Thank you, SueAnn! Hugs back!
Oh wow! You make a great stand up comic! That was fantastic!
Awww, you flatter me, Babs! Thank you!
Hey Margaret! This is amazing. Nicely done x Indigo
Thank you, fellow awesome writer, you.
It’s truly awesome to find not only a writer who is hilarious on “paper” but equally amazing at the whole live reading of their own stuff part.
You would be one of THOSE people.
Wonderful post about someone who had to have been a wonderful Mother.
Thank you, Chris. Thank you SO MUCH for your kind and encouraging words.
And yeah. She was awesome.
Margaret, you are beyond awesome. I wish I could have been there to heckle the bit about Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. 🙂
Seriously, you were fantastic. And if I may be so bold, I think your mom would have been proud.
Aw, thank you, Nicky. And yes, you may be so bold. Others have. And believe me, I can’t think about, write about, or bandy about Kraft Macaroni and Cheese without thinking of you. So needless to say, there was a period there where I was thinking a lot about you. 🙂
