Goat Thing of the Day: A Baaaad Pick Up Line

A pretty girl walks into a bar on Christmas Eve. A drunken goat three stools over slurs, “Hellow there priddy ladee. Ish that hay in yer pocket, or are you jush glad to see me?”

Right? Isn’t that what it looks like?

Well, it was either that or something about Kilroy being here. In any case, thanks to John from the Savo Auctioneers who sent in the above picture along with this next one.

They were visiting the Roba Family Farm in Dalton, Pennsylvania, when they had an NGIP moment, lucky for us.

My friend, Andrea, showed me this picture of a place where only goats are allowed.

As seen on Snuzzy

You can click on the picture to enlarge it, or go to Snuzzy.com’s goat post for a larger version.

There’s a goat in the top too – did you see it?

Here’s a slightly closer look:

Now do you see it? I know, I missed it the first time, too.

That goat looks plastered! Oh, and I LOVE the goat house. (and I missed the goat at the top too). I would like one of those goat houses for myself. Merry Christmas to you and your family and to all your goats in panties. 🙂

My husband and I have a tad bit over an acre, and have been discussing the possibility of getting goats. Seeing this tower was exciting for me, I now want one of those in my yard for my future goats. I think I'll put it over by the 10' round by 3' deep fish pond I plan on digging (I am serious, I want to raise brim, just reach in and grab dinner). Thanks for sharing this, it is a cool looking contraption.

Have you heard of Goats on the Roof. It's in Clayton, GA and sooooooo cute!

    1. Hey Kristen – I've recently heard about Al Johnson's restaurant (maybe in
Wisconsin) that has goats on the roof (and is an upcoming Goat Thing of the
Day), but Clayton GA? I'm not sure….what is it?

  10. tattytiara says:

It's like a cat house for goats. Hum after typing that I now understand why that title didn't catch on “The Best Little Goathouse in Texas”.

  28. Ack! We have that same goat tower here in town. Tomorrow I shall go and photograph it. I've been meaning to for ages, but now that I see another it's taken on a new urgency. Plus what else am I going to do Christmas Eve?

I wonder if they sell them at PetCo with the Kitty Towers?

    1. Oh no, I looked in my computer and the tower isn't exactly the same.

      Also, these goats are magical.

      1. Did you take these pics, Tracy? Are they different than the ones you said you would go and photograph tomorrow? I think you should just camp out overnight on Christmas Eve all the way into Christmas Day… I mean, since you don't have anything else going on.

Seriously though, can I use these maybe for Goat Thing of the Day? Or were you planning to take other pics later?

        1. I did, a couple of years ago. I am going to go back sometime in the near future to see the goats again, but in the meantime feel free to use the pictures. They live in the courtyard of a bar here and they drink beer.

Now that I mention that, I think a field trip is in order.
