Happy Limerick Day

According to my complimentary NPR calendar, today is Limerick Day.

In celebration of this sacred Irish occasion, I shall foist upon you my literary talents in poetry. To wit:

There once was a man from Nantucket,

Who cased the street fair with a bucket.

His slow pace would quicken,

Then nab a white chicken,

And later would randomly pluck it.

Top 'O the Evenin' to ye.
