Goat Thing of the Day: Hot Dog Goat

Alert NGIP reader Jennifer sent in a picture of her fainting goat, Gizmo, which was taken in Firth, Nebraska. Jennifer says, “Since everyone always asks if she is a meat or dairy goat, this is a definitive answer to the question! ”

LouLou La Poule from Hen’s Teeth showed NGIP this picture of a guy who’s part of a group of landscapers hired on Bunker Hill in downtown Los Angeles.

Here’s an 11 second video sent in by my friend Drew showing an attack Boer goat kid.

Oh sure he looks cute and all…

    Have a fantastic day!!!!

  2. Ha ha ha ha ha! I love it!

  3. Connieweiss says:

I guess these’s no limit to the things people will dress up like a hot dog.

  4. Pricilla says:

    Oh the indignity!
It is bad enough that I had to wear pearls but a hotdog suit!

The boer goat has the answer…

  5. SueAnn says:

  6. Liz says:

I love the hot dog costume, says a dog owner who dresses up her dog as Elvis and Yoda.

  7. HA! Loved the video. You can’t trust kids these days. Which is all the more reason to dress them as hot dogs.

  8. Caden says:

Man, who could eat a little goat that FAINTS???!!! That’s so messed up.

The little attack dude has the right idea: kill ‘em before they kill YOU!

  9. I heart goats.
Also… do people actually name meat goats? Weird.

  10. I didn’t know there were goats on Bunker Hill. That’s very cool.
    Happy weekend, jj

    Love the vid.
I expect you have already been sent this by hundreds of your readers as it even made the news in the UK.

Is Disqus actually going to let me post a comment? Have you changed something with them?

  12. It’s funny, because I’ve never received so many notifications from people than I have for this particular news story. I think everybody but me saw this one in the news. I don’t even know whether or not to put it up for the next Goat Thing of the Day because everybody will say, “I know! I already saw this! I told YOU about it!” :) Nevertheless, keep pointing them out because you never know, you could be the first, you could be the only…

  13. Jayne says:

Did you see the story this week about the two goats stuck on a ledge of some sort for two days before being rescued?
